IMPORTANT NOTE

Hello, and welcome.
I would like to inform you that I AM MOVING.
...well, sort of. I have started a new blog, Oui Crochet, that focuses just on crochet, crochet patterns, and crochet resources. I am in the process of building it up as a one stop shop for all things crochet, and I am very excited about it. I hope you will come over and check out my progress. :)
I will be moving my patterns from this site, to my new site. My idea is to leave this site active, so that you can still access other aspects of this site. I will also leave a modified "introduction" post where each pattern is on this site, as to keep all links active and make it so that you can easily locate the pattern's new home. As an added bonus, you will also find new printable/downloadable versions of my patterns.
I apologize for any inconvenience, but I assure you, this change is a positive one. I look forward to seeing you at Oui Crochet.
Happy Crocheting!

Microwave Directions For Boxed Mac n Cheese

So, have you noticed that since coming out with this:

The microwave directions for this:
has disappeared?
I did.

I've made it so much, though, that I have those directions memorized. It's super easy.

Here's What You Do:

  1. Get a large, microwave safe bowl. Something that will hold around 6 cups. It might seem too big, but trust me, it's not! Anything smaller will boil over and you will have a mess.
  2. Add 2 cups of water and the noodles to the bowl.
  3. Microwave 5 minutes, stir, microwave 5 minutes more.
  4. Remove from microwave. At this point the water should all be absorbed, so there is no need to drain. If there is still water and the noodles are not tender, pop it in for a couple more minutes.
  5. Now add the cheese sauce, butter, and milk, according to package directions.
Want to make more than one box at a time?
  1. You're gonna need a bigger bowl!
  2. Add 2 cups of water for the first box, and 1 1/2 cups for each additional box.
  3. Microwave for around 7 minutes, stir, and then again for another 7 or so minutes (longer if necessary).
  4. Follow the rest of the instructions.
Easy, right?
If you want a yummy twist, try this!
Enjoy!

  2. Your welcome!
I feel much more comfortable when my older kids make it in the microwave instead of stovetop. They don't have to deal with draining boiling hot water.
I don't even like dealing with draining the water, myself. lol
