IMPORTANT NOTE

Hello, and welcome.
I would like to inform you that I AM MOVING.
...well, sort of. I have started a new blog, Oui Crochet, that focuses just on crochet, crochet patterns, and crochet resources. I am in the process of building it up as a one stop shop for all things crochet, and I am very excited about it. I hope you will come over and check out my progress. :)
I will be moving my patterns from this site, to my new site. My idea is to leave this site active, so that you can still access other aspects of this site. I will also leave a modified "introduction" post where each pattern is on this site, as to keep all links active and make it so that you can easily locate the pattern's new home. As an added bonus, you will also find new printable/downloadable versions of my patterns.
I apologize for any inconvenience, but I assure you, this change is a positive one. I look forward to seeing you at Oui Crochet.
Happy Crocheting!

Chorizo and Eggs

I've been away from my computer for a few days, so here is another post moved over from my old blog. Enjoy!

One of my favorite meals for breakfast is Chorizo and Eggs, so I thought I'd share with you all how I make it. It is super easy and VERY tasty!

Here's what you need:
Chorizo (I like pork), eggs, onions, cheese, and tortillas (if you like).

The onion s missing from this pic.
I already had them in the pan!

First, dice up some onion and start cooking it up in a hot pan. Cook until it just starts to get tender.

See how they are getting the color on the edges?
This is how you want them.

Next, remove the onions from the pan, and add the chorizo. Cook it until it is cooked through.

It will look like this.

Now, return the onions to the chorizo, then take about 8 eggs and crack them into a bowl, add a TB of milk or water, if desired, whisk them up and pour them into the pan with the chorizo and onions. Add a little shredded cheese, too. Let the eggs cook through, using the spatula to lift and turn to ensure even cooking.

Yeah, it doesn't look too pretty, especially with pics from a cell phone!
But it tastes AWESOME!

Serve with more cheese and some tortillas on the side. Enjoy!
