I would like to inform you that I AM MOVING.

...well, sort of. I have started a new blog, Oui Crochet, that focuses just on crochet, crochet patterns, and crochet resources. I am in the process of building it up as a one stop shop for all things crochet, and I am very excited about it. I hope you will come over and check out my progress. :)

I will be moving my patterns from this site, to my new site. My idea is to leave this site active, so that you can still access other aspects of this site. I will also leave a modified "introduction" post where each pattern is on this site, as to keep all links active and make it so that you can easily locate the pattern's new home. As an added bonus, you will also find new printable/downloadable versions of my patterns.

Toddler Pillowcase Style Dress

I love quick and easy projects. I am not great at sewing, but I do know how. I had some cute fabric and thought a pillowcase style dress would be quick and easy. It was!

You just start with your fabric, cut 2 pieces in the right shape, sew the sides together, hem the sleeve area, hem the neck, and run a ribbon through the neck pieces. Voila! Done!

Here's a little look at what I did:

A few tips:

If you use clear nail polish on the ends of the ribbon, it will not ravel.
I sewed a line in the center of the neckline with the ribbon in it, so that my daughter can't pull the ribbon out.
Try various sizes for dresses or even shirts.
You can add pockets for a cute look.
You can add lace around the hem for another cute look.
