I decided that they needed a little makeover, so I grabbed my yarn and hook and after about 3 tries, I came up with a fix!
Here is what I started with:
I cut the straps off:

I crocheted my own straps:
Then, I attached the straps with hot glue:
Here's how they turned out:
They needed a little extra something, so I made a flower to attach to each:
What do you think?
I did write out the pattern as I made them, but it was kind of complicated and a little hard to understand. That's why I didn't post it. So cute! My daughter never wears anything I make...but she loves flip flops. They hurt her sometimes so I feel like these would be better for her. :)
ReplyDeleteYou should try it! I know they are much more comfortable for my lil' one... if only she liked walking in them! lol Hopefully she grows out of her "sensory issue" by next summer. I want to make more! :-)
