Weekly Crochet Square: Week 17

 Today we are going to do a fun little square. This square uses the puff stitch. The puff stitch looks like cute little raised bubbles and  It can be used in many decorative ways.
Again, this was a busy week for me so, unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to finish the square. I finished a portion of one and I think you can get the idea of what it will look like by that. Let's get started.


Puff Stitch Square

What You Need:
Size K crochet hook
Worsted weight yarn

Special Stitch: Puff Stitch:[Yarn over, insert hook into next stitch, pull through loop] 4 times. You will have 9 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through 8 loops, yarn over and pull through the 2 loops left on the hook. Push the puff to the front and go on to the next stitch.

What You Do:
Chain 20
Row 1: sc in second ch from hook, and in each across. Turn. (19)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in next 3 sts, [puff stitch, sc in next 3 sts] repeat across. Turn.
Row 3: ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.
Rows 4-18: Repeat rows 2&3.
Finish off.
