Child's Slouchy Hat With Brim (free crochet pattern)

I had an idea in mind for a hat for my daughters. I searched images online, and found some that were close, but not exactly what I wanted. I ended up borrowing bits and pieces from a few different patterns, tearing out the work, making changes, and starting over... again... and again...
The frustration paid off, though. I finally came up with some little hats that I like!
These hats are child sized. They fit my 5 year old, 7 year old, and 1 1/2 year old, so they are fairly forgiving in sizing. OK, I just got up and tried one on my 12 year old (I don't think he was too happy about that... sorry kiddo!) It fit. So yeah, it fits a wide range of child sizes.

    1. Thank you! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you! You could add a row or 2 after row 10, increasing in the same pattern to make a bigger hat. :-)

    1. Hi! Unfortunately, I have never even tried to draw out a pattern, so I don't really know how that would work out. lol Maybe I will give it a try and perhaps sometime in the future, I will post a drawn pattern. I will have to learn more about it, though. :-)
