  1. i want to learn how to crochet too. Years and I mean years ago, i learned to crochet and did a single line thingy, same with knitting. Never made anything.

good job on the soap bag.

    1. Thanks! There are a ton of youtube videos... you should totally learn! Once you get a couple of stitches down, it's easy! ;-)

  2. This is a neat idea. Here is the question - is the sack for storage or do you wash with it? Love the idea either way!

    1. You can wash with it! :-)
It's 100% cotton, so it's pretty cool. (Of course make sure it gets washed & dried regularly, so that it doesn't grow mildew and such. lol)

  3. That's a really cute idea! I want to learn to make my own soap- and diaper rash cream! How do you make that? Nothing works on my little one...I have beeswax, coconut oil and cocoa butter already!

    1. I made diaper rash cream just by melting some cocoa butter and coconut oil together, then I melted down the beeswax (just a little bit) and added it to the cocoa butter/coconut oil. I put it all in a small container, set the container on a bed of ice and stirred it all together until it was cooled and creamy. I just made a small batch and didn't measure anything. It worked great!
Check out these sites... they are awesome and they make some really great homemade products. :-)

  4. Very nice, Susie! So simple, yet it would make a great Christmas gift, especially with some artisan soap inside. One could go crazy with the yarn colors! Thanks for sharing at Hookin On Hump Day!
